Please help mp3 issue

I'm wondering if the 2001 Mazda protege MP3 edition is a interface or non interface engine. My reason for asking is that if the timing belt breaks will it cause the the valves to bend and all that or just to stop running. Thank you. Wont email you, if you want the answer to the question you should google it or at least check back for an answer. You want the answer its your obligation to make the effort.

To answer the question the FS-DE is a non-interferance engine. Otherwise nfi what you mean by interface.

Well I'm pretty sure this is a forum and I'm pretty sure it's for questions and people to talk anoint their cars, I have googled it several times finding info is not very easy on a car like the mp3 but if your gonna b**** about answering a question why bother?

any researching of the mp3 will tell you its basicly a regular mazda protege with rims and a body kit. same motor trans axles brakes etc. if your asking this question obviously you need to change your timing belt its like 30 bucks at autozone and 6 hours ish just change it. there are people who have bent valves from belts braking...
