please advise aon best a/f guage for price

ok i want to start playing with the standback I leaned it out 2% from 4-7k could definatly tell the difference, little more power.. BUT this is a dangerous game without an a/f guage... I like the one you can plug into the car scan plug are these any good?? thanks for advise guys!(first)

yeah just to be safe i just put all the tables back to zero, except for the tune i have for vta. But the car ran great no probs!

I have an innovative that was 250. Supposedly they are damn good. My only beef is the data log has no corrolation to the standback. With a dashhawk you could graph your tps and widband and compair that to a standback tps for tps. You get my jist? There was talk of standbacks supporting analog widebands which the innovative has, but I don't know if that is still in development.

I just sold my boost gauge and bought a dash hawk...

Do yourself a favor, instead of buying and installing 11ty billion different gauges just buy a dashhawk. Its cheaper in the long run!

dashhawk FTW !! got mine yestearday and after a minor setback getting the software and mazda specific stuff to work for me, I LOVE IT !!
others have questioned the AF accuracy but mine seems spot on.
i have some logs i will upload tonight.

If you're planning to tune yourself dashawk sounds like a better idea. I plan to go with the Cobb AP so I'm pretty much counting on them to do a good job and the boost gauge is just for looks/do some minor monitoring

the DashHawk is great!!! msd has some great suppot there are new beata (testing) profiles that come out weekly to every 2 weeks. the batas have really helped us expand what we can see. the only problem with any of the OBD2 gadges is that if you start running piggyback tunning they dont read accuratly but you can see what your telling the computer. so i guess its a toss up i want it to read what is really hapning not what the tunning is telling the car. there was a forum or websight or magazine that did testing on a lot of the systems and compared at one time i havnt payed the money to read the whole write up. has anyone actuall read it? your running standback so i wouldnt recomend dashhawk to you are any of the OBD readers.

I'm more partial to the Aeroforce I piked up, but thats just me. I didn't really see a need to crank out the money for being able to look at 100 different parameters at once, when I only needed it to see AFR and Boost. Also, I like the gauge set up. Data logging is nice, but even though I suck at math, I'm good at remembering numbers. And if I decide to MAP clamp or BCD, I can pick up a module for the Aeroforce that will let it read true boost, not a fooled ECU reading.

OOH OOH! Tell me more about the dashhawk! I just read a bit about in on their website. Is it best to buy from them or is there another source? Are there perameters that it can't monitor from the OBDII port? So it will actually show A/F, Boost, etc from just plugging it in? Sounds pretty killer.

Where has everyone mounted it if you're leaving it in the car?
