Placed an order from Dabears2k last Friday, still pending and cannot get any updates

So after zero customer service and no parts being shipped and no updates, I sent an email to cancel my order from Dabears2k and for a full refund immediately. If not, i will be contacting the necessary groups to escalate the issue. I'm not at all cool with my money disappearing and no response from a store.
 
Three times actually with voicemails every single time. Voicemails had my name, phone number, order number and a description of the issue. Just as a note since you seem kind of tense about it, his voicemail says "for a faster response, please send an email."
 
I still haven't heard any more from Dabears2k, I'll give them until the end of this week be fore I cancel my order.

I'm up for a meet!
 
Well, if you've called then you have every right to be pissed.

Only reason why I asked is because a lot of people rely soley on email, and a lot of vendors don't have the time/resources/patience to check email on a regular basis...or at least be able to reply to everyone. But yeah, if he's not returning phone calls I'd say it's time to take it to the next level. Call your card company and get a chargeback.
 
Think I'll just stick with PG and SU from here on out. (2thumbs)

I`ll add that it`s probably only going to be SU for me from here on out considering my one and only order with PG was much less than spectacular. SU seems to be the most consistent in terms of getting stuff out promptly and actually puts in an effort to communicate if something is out of stock or back ordered. That has been my experience, of course, YMMV.
 
Dabears2k got back to me today to offer a full refund and free shipping on my next order or free shipping on this order. He said he is in China and is having trouble keeping his staff in line with getting orders filled and that he wasnt sure how mine got overlooked. I appreciate his honesty but it worries me about the caliber of people working there. Hopefully he will get it resolved. In the mean time, i cancelled my order.
 
PG and SU are the only two places I have bought things and prolly the only places I ever will for my Speed since I doubt I'll be pouring anymore money into her.
 
I just requested a refund for my order as well. Here it is, 8 business days later and it's still "Pending"! Giving a day for processing and 4 days for shipping, there is no chance of me receiving my order until next week.

I guess my order got overlooked as well. (scratch)
 
Yep, ordered there just now and got shipping confirmation in 10 min. Wow!
 
few months ago i order something from there and he kept telling me it was the manufactuer's fault for not sending him the parts. His website did not say back order and nor did he. So he ask me to wait a week about 3 times After a few emails and over a month pass, i just got a refund. He didn't pay me shipping back the first refund so i lost on paypal fees twice. Not such a good experience for me as a first time buyer on his site.

dont be to amazed. It all depends on the time of day you order, and whether or not its a stocking item for them, or something that is drop shipped.

street units history on these boards are enough to keep me from ordering anything from them. PG has yet to let me down, as well as Corksport, and mazdatrix for my rx7. I know matt personally and hes local, so getting stuff from him isnt an issue for me. Also working in a dealership in the parts dept has taught me how things operate in the parts business. I send and recieve packages all day. Some things are just out of your hands.

Good customer service, quick response time, and employees who do their jobs are. Not to say Dabears suffers from this since I've never ordered from them, but Christ, some of these vendors seem like they're run by meth heads out of a garage. What's sad is how many Fortune 500 companies are run the same way.

Since I am in business myself, I can certainly understand and sympathize but some of the vendors on here are really really bad on the customer service end. There will be delays, there will be shipping errors, FROM TIME TO TIME but it always seem habitual and there seem to be the usual culprits. I do not have any experience with a lot of vendors here but PG really dropped the ball on my order and although I am a patient person, waiting on a part for over 3 months just isn`t acceptable. It`s not even the fact that I had to wait that long that annoyed me but the total lack of communication and contradicting information I received that was disappointing.

Now I know SU doesn`t have vendor status here any more and there are reasons for this that I have read up on in the past but I`m being totally honest here. They seem to be THE BEST in terms of consistency and promptness. I`ve placed orders with them 4 times now and have yet to be disappointed - they`re prompt, they keep their website up to date and even called me long distance once because a couple of the items I ordered were back ordered and there was no ETA from the manufacturer. No excuses, no run-around, just straight up asked me if I wanted to wait or get a full refund. No BS - from what I`ve read up on here and another forum, I can`t say the same for some of the official vendors.
 
when i say things are out of their hands, im referring to backordered products, shipment times (once the package is dropped off at the facility, theres nothing the vendor can do). Obviously customer service is what they need to excel in. Good customer service results in customer retention, which leads to more business. Ive heard horror stories about trying to get ahold of SU, as well as with PG.

Ive ordered from PG a ton of times, and the only time i had a problem was when OBX was backordered on the header for the p5. It was a miscommunication b/w PG and OBX. I had no problems getting ahold of ken through aim or PM, and was more than happy to fix it. Not to mention there are multiple members on the board that assist him through here and on AIM. Ive never had an issue trying to contact them.

The problem is everyone has their own experiences. Show me 5 people happy with SU and ill show you 5 more who hate them. Same with PG or any other vendor.

I know and understand pretty much how the business works, and how much work goes into manually inputing information (like tracking numbers) and trying to update as many site profiles in regularly. Once its all automated they wont ahve that issue anymore.

The fact that PG has free shipping is what is what helps me the most, and which is why i order alot of my parts through them.

When looking for the fastest shipping, you want to order your products on a sunday night. This way its one of the first orders to be processed the next business day, and is also likely to ship out that same day. And your more than likely to recieve it on a saturday (as shipping on a monday would utilize the most business days)
 
AFAIK, a lot of vendors offer free shipping, SU included. But I see where you`re coming from and are totally right, for every 5 that are happy with vendor X, there are bound to be others that are not. I just happen to not be so happy with PG because from where I stand: SU is 4 for 4 and PG is 0 for 1.

I would like to give Ken credit as I did get a phone call from him regarding my long awaited order but in the end, I still had to wait over another month and PM him a couple of more times after before I finally got the part. I wouldn`t be against ordering from them again because after all, I believe any competition is good for the consumer but unfortunately, I`d be a bit weary and perhaps dig for as much info. as possible before I place an order from them next time.

PS: Thanks for the tip in regards to placing an order on a Sunday, I`ll keep that in mind from now on!
 
Out of the 9 orders I've ordered from SU, I have never been disappointed with their customer service. They always processed my orders quickly, and several times, shipped the same day. Same goes for PG.

I'm still waiting to hear back from Dabears2k on my refund, I requested it yesterday morning first thing. As of today, my order is still pending.
 
As NC said, I am currently in china working on new items. It is taking me a little longer to get back to people than I had hoped, as internet is spotty at best. We are never out to screw anyone and are answering emails as quickly as possible.

All refunds that were requested have been processed as far as I know, if you haven't gotten your refund, please email me again as I may not have seen your email.
