Hey.
tints look dark..what percentage?
The graphics looks pretty good IMo. when you wrote t hat you you graphics, i was thinking of those overdone ones all over the side of the car....
but your's actually looks good....

The tint looks good, but I'm definitely not a fan of graphics. They're not overdone, so they're ok, but I would never put them on my own car.

Tint does usually look darker in pics, though. I'm guessing it's 35% all around.

It was all put on by the Dealer. The driver and passenger door is legal 35%. The rest of the windows are a little darker.

I been thinking about removing the graphics. I assume that can be done fairly easily? Biggest reason I haven't is I only had car a few weeks and they do complement the tint cause of the grey tones in them.

IMO, tint's a little dark, i'm planning on going with 35 % all the way around. Don't like the grfx, but then again i never have. I saw what looked to be a MSP with a sunroof last week on High Rev Losers and they plstered the entire side with blue grfx.
Cheese please ! Your's looks 1 million times better than that.

woohoo fast and furious 3 here comes the MSP!!!! do it fast do it furious gotdlife! it doesn't look to ricey i guess. you guys like those shots. you should see my 5% tint all around. its like riding in a friggen tomb. but looks nice

OMG when you said graphics on your MSP I nearly crapped my pants....thing OMG NOOOOOOO!!!!

but then I opened your images.....those actually look very nice. very understated actually......they look sharp.....the tint looks great too.....

(stash)

the color looks really nice in these pictures. Very close to what it looks like in person. Although, it's a little more peachier and not quite as orange. The sparkles are represented quite nicely here.

Tint looks good.

If I did decide to remove the Graphics I imagine it is a pretty easy task?

should be. if not a mild soap and water solution should do it. and if that doesn't work sand blast it. just messin with ya. bug and tar remover should work if you can't find anything else

The sooner you do it, the easier it will be too. And the Bug and Tar remover in aerosol form seems to work better than the liquid stuff for some reason. Don't ask me why, thats just been my experience.

hey guys, would those techniques work on taking pinstripes off as well? the dealer decided they had the liberty to decide if i wanted pinstripes or not and they went ahead and put them on. yeah i was pissed and asked them to take em off, and they were like oh our guy that does that comes in on tuesday. but go figure, im at work on tuesdays 9 to 5, so i have no time for joe pinstripe to get my car back to the way i want it. im thinkin of just taking them off myself. so you say just use a hairdryer and peel it off? that wont damage the uber sexy black mica paint will it?
about how long would this take? too bad it gets dark outside at like 4:30PM now :(
but who cares, i washed my rims last night at 9PM with the help of a nice extension cord and shop light. lol it was cold out there, and yes, im rambling on :(

From what I understand you can't do any tint in VA. Hell you read it and tell me what you think.

Thanks for the kind words as well. If I did decide to remove the Graphics I imagine it is a pretty easy task?

I don't thing you have the whole picture there....you have 46.2-1052.....in which it states in section C , where it refers you to section 46.2-1053 then goes on to give you tinting limitations...

50% on front windows......35% on the rears....

I think the BEST thing you could do is to contact a shop in your area....for IF it is in fact legal in your state to tint the windows....a preputable shop will have a small sticker which they normally attach to the drivers glass just above where the lock is that states the shops name...and that the tint job conforms to the law of that state........do some research with people that actually live in YOUR area.....if you know ANY officers of the law...ask one....of if you see one somewhere....approach them very nicely and politely and just ask the simple question.....
