Pictures of Car with 22" Lexani LX-10's

[Lexani 22 CX9]

Picked up the car last night at the dealer and drove it home on the turnpike. The car rides great. No vibration and very smooth. The bigger wheels and tires give the car a more stable feel and ride especially when switching lanes at high speeds.

I really dont feel the ride stiffer like everyone says I would experiance with bigger wheels. It actually feels smoother to me.

Maybe its because I am not using super low profile tires. The tires are pretty beefy, I Installed Pirelli Scorpion 265/40/22

How is the ride with so little sidewall?

I was considering the TSW Londrina in Gunmetal for ours. My only concern was the dark center on a dark car, but after seeing yours, I'm encouraged.

The ride is actually very good. I dont really understand why everyone says that it will be a rough ride.

I feel as if the car is actually driving smoother not rougher because of the wider tires. My daily commute is on smooth roads and expressway and I like the new new stickier and more responsive feel.

Nope, The dealer wanted like 200 bucks for tints. I got them at a car audio shop for 100 bucks.

The front is not tinted but since I put 15% on the already tinted factory glass and 5% on the passenger and drivers side glass the car is really dark and doesnt allow too much light inside. So the front window looks dark because the inside of the car is dark.

I've been running 22's for awhile and besides getting a alignment they have worked well.

How do you know that your speedometer and odometer and ABS/traction control systems are not affected by the larger overall rolling diameter?

The earlier models have an option in the NAV syste for "Tire Change" which reportedly re-calibrates the odometer when you select that option and drive around for 10 minutes. Not sure about newer NAV systems. It's in both my Mazdas.

No, it's just for tire change, i.e. if you have a set of dedicated winter wheels+tires. That will allow the computer to register another set of TPMS to the car. nothing to do with recalibrating the odo.
