Here is a pic from this past weekend at Gingerman Raceway, just looks sweet. Cooling down after my heat.

Looks good but the chrome grills are too much for the car. Take a scotch brite to them for that brushed look, then you car ownz j00!

i'm same as Maxx... i cant dig the chrome... it would be sweet with a black grill... or a gunmetal color.. something like that....

Yea I would have to agree. I like the vents on the VIS hood, but I dont like the two other slots they put on it. The WW hood looks good, if only the vents were not chrome. It would look sweet with black vents, but your car still looks good, just like mine, except for a sweet hood.

(cool) .. Looks awesome! Hopefully by the end of the summer, I'll have me one of those!

Just out of curiosity -- where'd you get yours, and how much did it cost you? And are there washer nozzle cutouts on the WW? I can't remember ..

No washer cut-outs, and i'm not about to drill holes in a hood that expensive.

I bought it off my brother (Little Beavis), it took 7 months for him to get it, he never installed it, and I wanted one after i got my MSP.

No cut-outs, huh? Well, pfft. That's alright. I love the look of the WW hood -- so when I get mine, I'll just have to drive around with a roll of paper towels and a Windex bottle in the back seat. :D

just to let you know you should remove the vent bolts and lock-tite them.
they tend to fall out.
looks good though.

yeah, paint the grill black, for sure...

gawd i love the looks of tht hood. Way better than the VIS(hate the stupid side vents and the bulge in the hood between the grills)

looking good (2thumbs)

Belated question, here ..

How difficult was the install? I've heard some horror stories about installin' the CF hoods -- but I'm hopin' that the WW version is clean and won't turn into too much of a mess.

How long did it take you? Any problems?

I dunno why it would be hard to install a hood. Definitely a two (or three) person job...

what horror stories have you heard?

My iON hood took me an a buddy (you NEED 2 people) about 5 minutes. 4 bolts and then transfer the washer fluid thingies. Fit was perfect, so no need to adjust.
