Pics of my spec V

No offense dude, but the 2.5L engine in that car is a POS. I work @ Nissan so I probably should be praising your car, but I see them blow up every day. I was trying to decide between the Spec V and the 03.5 Titanium MSP, and you can see what I chose. I test drove the Spec V, and I was impressed by the performance, but it does not put the power to the ground very well in my opinion. I prefer having a limited slip by far. I wouldn't really make use of the 6th speed around here. I would rather the limited slip for launches. I am not bagging on your car.
You work for Nissan yet you didnt know the spec v had a heltical (sp?) limited slip differential? Hmmm.....(cool) (headshake ANYWAYS (says a lot about the people that work there). Yes I had my engine blow and I would love to have it blow again, cause 0 miles on a engine in your car is pretty ******* sweet if you ask me man. Also all of these problems were corrected in 04 and they are running badass. Also, the Spec puts the same power to the ground as the MSP soooo idk where your coming up with your numbers? I like both cars equally I'm just a big Nissan guy.

Hey, I love your Spec V, man. A good friend of mine had a 2003 SE-R Spec V (the fool traded it in for a Mazda B-series truck... and then complained about gas mileage...), and that thing was fast. I think for the overall package the Spec V is a helluva good deal. Gotta dig that 6th gear for road trips. :)

The only thing I don't like about the body style is the rear lights; makes it look like it has Downs. Anyone know if Nissan is planning on a real update for the Sentras?

Nice combo. You should see if you can get those two cars to breed. I'd like to see a car that handles like the msp with f/i and a 2.5. What I do like about the spec is unlike the msp 2.0 is it isn't jumpy at parking lot speeds like the msp. And no, that has nothing to do with the turbo it's just the nature of the 2.0 is the mazda.

The limited slip that Nissan uses in the Maxima, Spec V, and 350Z has not impressed me. I like the way the Z drives, but at the same time, I am disappointed with the top end speed of it. I kept up with one on the highway for about a half our until he finally slowed down and gave up on leaving me behind. I have raced around with the guys I work with also. My car was bone stock, and I got taken the first time, then I learned how to launch my car (it was almost brand new), and I beat him the second time. I stand by my statement that I am more than happy with my decision. I don't want to dog the company that pays my paycheck any more than I already have. I think that car is goofy looking, that is the main thing. Turbo's are the easiest cars to get extra power out of. All it takes is a boost controller, and a better flowing intake and exhaust. Obviously you haven't read that article in Import Racer where they had it up to 210 HP at the wheels, and about 240 at the flywheel. That was just with basic bolt-ons too. Most of the things I have planned. If you are happy, that is all good, I work for the company and stayed away from it, though. Drive by my work, and count how many are in the lot. It won't take long...what does that tell you ;) (wink) You blew one engine, and you are N/A, and you still think it is a good car? What is your VIN number, so I can deny the next engine replacement. (naughty) Haha, just kidding dude. Seriously though, I had to deny one from Arizona today, because it has had 20 repairs since 2002. That car has had two engines before, a transmission, motor mounts, trans mounts, a bunch of exhaust repairs, stereo replacements, sun visors. It was obvious it has been abused. I try not to deny anything, because I know how tough it can be. That car has had just too many repairs though. The main problem is the placement of the converters right behind the engine, and the shoddy ECM. Again, I like my cars just fine! Yep, the show car is back stronger than ever too! (rockon)
