I love this car too... So, I got past 1000kms and opened it up for real for the first time today... You know, I was wrong... this thing actually would smoke an RX-8... I had the best thing EVER happen last night. I was cruzing in the rain (I don't street race so don't take this like it was a race)... and behind me pulls up a Mercedes SL 55 AMG (500hp RWD right...) . So I catch him in my mirror, and he is tailing me pretty hard. I STOMP on it, and in my mirror this guy tries to stomp it to keep up, and he fishtails like a mad man... he starts to gain, and I take a turn at about 60kph, he fishtails behind me still trying to keep up and ends up doing a donut instead of turning..... I FRICKIN LOVE THIS CAR... LOL....

Anyway, I LOVE MY NEW WHEELS too!!! I am getting tint on Saturday, I'll post a couple more pics with the new rims and tint, after I get a wash... it does get dirty fast

I would love to come out to any Vancouver Mazda meets, I live in Walnut Grove right now, but my house is up for sale and I plan to move back to Burnaby when it sells.

I'm out in Maple Ridge, but we do have some meets out in Surrey, so isn't far for you. Hopefully I'll see ya on the road sometime, I'm out in Surrey quite a bit. Sounds like ya had fun opening her up, especially against a Benz, haha. That's what ya get when you can't handle RWD power. What wheels did ya get?

I picked up Motegi Hyperblack DPK 17x7s, they were one of 2 wheels at Volco that would clear the breaks. I love them though, they look awesome, and weigh a lot less than stock.

Very nice, the black on black must look nice! Would like to see new pics, and I really like the white on black leather interior, haven't seen that pulled off well anywhere else, if at all really.

I don't think I would ever put 17's on it for the summer though. Car begs for 18's at least.

17's look small on there, but it's for winter, who cares. I think for the summer, 19's would look great!

the roof rack adds character. once you drop it and get some nice 18's, it sould look like hot sex

I'd actually consider replacing the front brakes just to fit 16's...once you go small, big feels slow.

wouldn't lowering the car run the risk of hurting some driveline pieces? isnt that the whole reason the car is higher to begin with? to accomodate the awd set up
