for those worried about spacers being bad.

there's nothing wrong with them. Its like buying a wheel with less backspacing.
the only bad thing is to make sure that they are torqued correctly to the studs.
Also if your rims are hubcentric you may want spacer that are too but its not a
big issue. most aftermarket rims aren't hubcentric either.

Offroaders use spacers all the time to fit our huge tires. The only worries about
the axles are from putting on much heavier tire/rim combos.

Correct. If the spacers are hub-centric, especially being as large as those are, you shouldn't have a problem with the axles. The $5 aluminum spacers that are found at Pep-Boys are what could cause potential problems.

The VW guys run spacers all the time without any problems. My old roommate has 5mm F/25mm R H&R spacers on his Jetta & it looks sick:

They aren't bad, but if you plan on doing hard driving (1320 or especially auto-x & track), I would recommend strong, lightweight wheels.

I just find it amusing that in the spacer FS thread, someone said that 15mm up front was too big & 10mm was the max. Yet here Supman is running 25F/15R.

Yeah, basically just make sure you buy some that are good quality & you should be fine.

yea, 25mm is max, it's sitting perfectly inline with the fender and not rubbing.

yea its lowered haha yea my bad on asking u guys for opinions since u all want to buy them haha jk but other ppls' opinion will help me out.

oh yea and IF i am goin to sell, i'm selling for 250cdn like when i got them becuz they've only been on my car for 2 days, and i haven't even driven on them that much. Whitep5seattle has first dibs, but i prefer local so i gotta ask my local forum first.

I think they look good. They just look different, which will make people look and wonder... With the spacers on and the car lowered, it seems like the wheels are bigger than they really are. I wouldn't get them myself cause I drive my car too hard, but they look good on the msp.

The spacers ARE bad over time, but not necessarily on the axles. By adding the spacers, you're moving the weight of the vehicle outwards, putting more weight on the outer (smaller) wheel bearings. The inner (larger) bearings are made for all that weight. You will eventually (12-18 months, my guess) begin having the outer bearings start to let go. You'll know it when you hear a faint grinding sound coming from the wheels, then louder and louder, then BAM! The bearing finally overheats and collapses, sending the brake rotor wobbling, caliper damage, etc. If this happens on the highway, there's a good chance the wheel wobble will get so bad before you can stop that the lug studs will snap, your wheel will go flying, and you'll rip up the underside of your car.
