just installed new piaa's h7 hyper white. Looks very nice! definitely something to get if you have non xeon's setup or if you don't want to spend 600 bucks on xeon kit. Comes with lifetime warranty and takes like 10 mins to install. I will post some nite time pics if anyone is interested.
btw it was 60 bucks for a pair from a local shop.

are these the headlight bulbs?

i want to change those and the turning signals and side marker lights
but dont know the bulb number

can someone help?

yea those were headlight bulbs, if you want to replace them don't get anything other then piaa's cos other cheap "straight from japan" bulbs can burn your socket and they fry pretty fast. I've never had any sorta prob w piaa's.

Forget PIAA. Me and DJStan got 4 fogs and 4 headlights. The fogs were OK. The headlights we replaced EVERY SINGLE ONE at least once inside the 1 year warranty. They break after a few months.
But the fogs are still going strong.

PIAA will warranty them for a year with no questions, at least that what they told me

Yes, the warranty is not the problem. The product is! The P5/MP3/MSP headlights, they keep burning out! Make sure you buy them from a place close to your house cause you will probably be going back!
Eventually I gave up and got Silvania's. Non-HID lights are almost all the same anyways.

yea sylvania's are good also and a lot cheaper, Yes I brought it from a shop 3 miles from me. So if they do burn out i will take em back :) thanks for the tip

yea I took out sidemarker and found the same, the bulb is like integrated to the lens. so you would just need to get new sidemarkers. Unless you can remove the sidemarket and pop open the top plastic to change the bulb. I wouldn't reccomend that cos it mite break, so best bet is to get a new thing.

to take the side markers off your car they just pop off. the side closest to the front of the car pops out first if you push it towards the back of the car a little bit. it's that easy. and it's pretty self explanitory to put them back in. but i wouldnt recommend taking them apart because they are 100% sealed lights.

ive got the xenon package on my car and wanna replace the high beams, are they 1157 or what are they? (uhm)

Are PIAA hyper white and PIAA extreme white the same colour. At my local store the extreme whites sell for $101cdn I find that to be quite a lot for bulbs.

I've got to agree with enry here... Paid a lot for my PIAA's.. (got suckered into 2 different pairs on two cars) both pairs blew in a few months.

This link points to a great article on bulbs ("super-" and "hyper-white"-types and "hid-look"-types) http://www.danielsternlighting.com/tech/bulbs/blue/good/good.html

What size headlight bulbs do us mazdaspeeders have? Im about to buy a HID kit and need to know. Half the places I read its H4, the other half its H7... Which is it??
