it's not a speed camera it's a redlight camera.

really? they tested it on FOX News and TechTV and the Denver Police Department and it worked

and even still it really was only $16 - wasn't that much at all.

Yeh it works. I've saw a guy with it on his van. At most angles, you can't even read his tags when the sun is out. It just produces an extreme glare.

Whether it works or not, I would not take the chance of having one because I know for a fact it upsets the police more you are intentionally trying to obfuscate your license plate. Good luck.

Sorry I didn't read all of the posts but they did a whole thing on Myth busters about the spray or film overlays and nothing passed the test and fooled the camera.

As Adam on Mythbusters said. "If I saw that you were trying to block out your tag and I could still read it, it'd piss me off even more and make me track you down." Their camera DID have a flash to whoever said it didn't. It was also not a conventional speed camera though, it was a Nikon DSLR, which might have better optics. Adam tested the still shots with an Olympus DSLR. Or maybe they were told by the government to lie and say ther eis no avoiding the tickets. who knows, I agree with everyone who says "Don't run redlights."
