My friend with the 533i was telling me that he couldn't find struts or springs (can't remember) for the rear. I gave him my skeptical face. I find it pretty hard to believe that companies would only make stuff for the front end of a vehicle, lol.
Not yet, but I plan to swap from the Weber 32/36's to Zenith 35/38's. While I know I will get better mileage out of the Webers, the Zeniths perform better overall.
Damn, awesome deal. However, I believe the offset is a bit much for the car. I know that many of the later model wheels don't fit for that reason. That being said... I may look into it.
Was busy today. First up... replaced the 2 remaining exhaust hangers with 4 brand new ones, courtesy of Jason at Nameless Performance.
Next, I replaced the rear springs with the B&G lowering springs that I had bought last year. Until now, I only did the fronts. Pretty easy to do, and didn't take much time.
Lastly, I scrubbed the hell out of the car. Like big time. With a soft bristle brush, and a bunch of degreaser, I went over the car twice. Did all the jambs under the hood and trunk. Following that, I hit it with some Corsa Car Care soap. Took it to the park nearby and snapped some shots.
No, actually. The old springs were so worn out that these springs sit at the same height, if not a little higher than the others. Definitely MUCH stiffer.
