Pg tip vs. Cobb tip

Cobb AP has no specific tune for the TIP upgrade. It's really a minor upgrade. So no you don't need a Cobb TIP if you run the AP. The result of any TIP is probably damn near identical except for fitment issues some have. Once you see the p.o.s. stock inlet you'll understand.

I bought the Cobb TIP because I was impatient for the availability of the PG, as I have this problem with needing instant gratification - so it was worth a bit more $$ to me to get the part in my grubby paws asap. There was also some quality concerns initially with the PG, but I know Ken is hard at work to keep that under wraps. I would do business with him simply because I respect his dedication to his market. If I wasn't such an impatient bastard that is.

Install of the Cobb TIP was cake. Fits perfectly fine with my MSCAI.

*edit: just realized this is about the MS6, so if the TIP and intake fitment is different...sorry.
