PG SRI & TIP combo

Well I noticed a bit of a difference with just the SRI when I had that on.....but now that I put on the TIP....wow!!! what a difference...the throttle response is so much peppier now especially when shifting. Seemed to reduce that initial lag of response right after you shift. Even if the TIP took forever...it was definitely worth the wait. It was also good I put them on separately to see which piece made the most difference....of course it could just be the combination of the two, but I noticed more butt dyno power from the TIP. Thanks Ken for being patient with my annoying emails lol...back to work as I am on call unexpectedly at 3:30am (coffee)

How is the quality? I was thinking about getting that combo but didn't have enough comments from people about it though.

took forever? haha try installing a downpipe all the while hoping nothing goes wrong/breaks

nah, he meant it took him like 3 months to finally receive his order for the TIP from PG. makes me glad i went with CS

The inlets I've seen have been shoddy, but I don't know about the intakes at all.

I'd go with the Cobb, CorkSport, or CP-e inlet/intake combos.

I own a PG TIP, and the quality is fine with me. None of the issues from the 1st batch or so I read about. Smooth inside, polished outside. Worth the $100 bucks.

Yeah the inlet was a perfect piece......nice and smooth all on the inside and looked just like a production piece that you would get from any big manufacturer.

my complete intake from PG is still doin' what does best, suckin' air.

suck
suck
suck
suck
suck

suck
suck
suck
the above is reference to Deftones' Seven Little Words and Spaceballs.

quality piece and the black powdercoating is awesome. no issues with over 10k on it.

thanks for the positive comments folks. sold over 400 of these inlets to date, been very happy with them and working to make improvements as needed.

- Does the PG SRI throw off CELs or anything else that may make the MAF sensor go funky? I'm looking at this being my first (on-purpose) mod to my MS6

Just bought the turbo inlet from Ken a couple weeks ago, and am throwing it in this weekend. Piece is very nicely made, and as said before, quality matches those of the bigger performance brands.

Can't wait to drop it in!

I have the combo from PG and installed them at the same time. It has yet to throw a CEL and haven't had any issues with the MAF.

no CEL codes and the fuel trims all fall into proper ranges

I haven't seen an issue with either the intake or inlet. I have both installed on my car and they are outstanding. I know several people with the PG TIP and various intakes with no issues at all. I am loving the PG TIP and SRI on my car, mixed with my AP for tuning. Excellent craftsmanship and great help with any and all install questions.

so, i just received my K&N Air Filter(got the bigger one for the MS6), but i did not get my intake/tip.

anyone else receive there filter before the intake?
