Performance upgrades

what about these wheels?

http://www.enkei.com/kojin.shtml

They use MAT technology just like RPF1's i'd imagine they'd be somewhere in the same ball park in terms of weight. They look pretty good imo and I think would look great on the 5. Though some may disagree.

If I ever upgrade rims I'm likely going with Enkei's too. They're light, of good quality, and look good at a decent pricepoint. The style in your link would be easy to clean thats for sure.

I saw that K&N has a air filter for the CX-5. Has anyone put that in their CX-5 yet? Wanted to see if any improvements on mpg or hp or torque. Keep us posted.

When I had my Tundra on a dyno I compared the stock filter to a drop in K&N. The stock filter made 4 horsepower more running back to back tests than the K&N. Wondering why we took the K&N apart and found out that the K&N filter only had 50% of the filter area that the stock Toyota had. You could see that the Toyota filter had more pleats that were spaced closer together. So even though the stock filter might be (and I'm assuming that) more restrictive per a square inch it still flowed better overall because it had 50% more surface area than the K&N. I personally think the stock filter filters dirt much better too and at the time you had to oil the K&N (yes I followed the directions correctly). Having already changed my stock CX5 filter for another Mazda one I noted that the stock Mazda filter has very similar high quality filter media to Toyotas.
