Now that I am back from the state meet, I can concentrate on getting this thing going. I discovered an exhaust leak the other day that I need to fix. Driving with an FMU, when I hit the throttle, too much fuel is dumped in an instant that kills my off the line response. I bog a little. After that, I hit the gas, and the A/F ratio goes uniform until the upper RPM's. There, I am.... I'M RICH BIYATCH!! (honk, honk). Now I understand why my accelleration sux up top. When I hit like 4500 RPM's, my A/F ratio goes below 10, so I press the pedal a little more, and my boost goes back to 8 PSI and my A/F starts going up towards 11, but then it doesn't! This makes my accelleration in higher RPM's very slow!
All of what I explained above is why I can't wait to install something (PRS8) that will control my fuel a lot better than that fluctuating FMU! Don't get me wrong. At lower boost, the FMU would be pretty good. For what I want, it sux!
