Hey guys and gals. Just got kind of a curious PM from "insider" I did a search and this person has no posts. Looks like they registered and just pm'd me after reading my posts about my car problems. Anyways this person says they work for Mazda Corp., Ahh wait I'll just let you guys read what they sent me.
"Your car problem
Funwagon,
I want you to know I work for Mazda Corp. I would like to talk to you about your problem. I might be able to help get it resolved.
Form you post it sounds like you have more of a dlr problem that product concern. PM me with a way to contact you and I'll call you to review your concerns. If you can I also get your Vin#.
Thanks. "
Not trying to be a jackass or anything here and not trying to kick the gift horse in the mouth or anything but I am a little wary of this. First I did not cutoff the name it just said thanks at the bottom. I don't make it a practice of giving my # out to anyone over the internet unless I am doing business with them and it is required(EBAY, PAYPAL, ETC....) Also the language of the post. Poor spelling and grammatic errors. usually correspondence from anyone corporate is very structured. Not putting this person down because everyone makes mistakes but I am just saying that it doesn't seem to be on par with CORPORATE language. Also the fact that this person has no other posts on any of the issues on this board. I know I have problems with my car but not compared to some of you. One other thing I certaintly don't give out is my Vin# on my car. Completely unrelated incident... I had my home computer hacked about 3 weeks ago. I came home to find that someone hacked my computer and copied my entire hard drive. That is all of my information from the past like 5 years. No CC#'s or anything like that but they got everything else.
I guess I am just being very cautious and wary because I have been burned so many times before from just blindly trusting someone under the guise of them helping me. Call me synical or pessimist and I will agree. What do you guys think. And if "insider" reads this post please reply and answer some of the questions I have posed. Really not trying to be a dick or anything sorry if I come off like that.
