Part#? MSP Front Lip

Will Mazda allow the 2003.5 lip to be sold to someone who doesn't actually own a Mazdaspeed? I was under the impression they weren't.

anything NOT installed at the factory does NOT start with 9999, 9998, or 0000... those are locally made parts and are port installed

Have you seen the Mazdaspeed Turbo parts list? Every single number in it starts with 0000-xx-xxxx. The only numbers that don't begin with a 0000 on the Mazdaspeed are the parts that are used on the regular Protege's(not the sill plates).

It will probably be pretty tough at first. Mazda sometimes wants a vin # to verify that you're in need of the part. I ran into this when I ordered my MP3 rear valance for my lx. Once they get enough stock you might be able to get ahold of one. Probably not real soon though.

What does the lip look like? I can't see it in any photo's of the MSP. Can someone link me to a photo?

no, I'm not allowed to release the turbo part numbers
the prices for little parts such as stupid clamps and flanges are insanely expensive also

correction, only the port installed/locally made stuff starts with 0000... some other accessories start with 999x... very few though... *some* of the non-locally made stuff that has part numbers start with 0000 are just packaged kits of the non-out-sourced made parts (suspension parts)

many FACTORY installed parts are different on the msp than the other pros... the brakes, radiator, oil cooler, upper oil pan block, tail lights, window glasses, shifter, gauge cluster, grill garnish, seats & trim are some of the things that ARE different

Like I said earlier though, don't be suprised if you have to get the one in primer and paint it.
These numbers are for the 2003.5 with the valance that sort of looks like the Wings West one.

neither the front or rear painted pieces are available to order at a dealership... those can *only* be ordered at the port... the exception is the rear orange skirt

I work enough hours in a day around this kind of stuff to get into it with you. I'm not the one trying to say that a Mazdaspeed came with beige interior. I'm just trying to help some of these people out by giving them the RIGHT information.
