Parking Lights

Does anyone know how to change the parking light on the passenger side of the CX-9? I followed the manual and tried twisting the connector to remove it but it didn't work. I was able to disconnect the connector from the bulb but it just remained in the headlight assembly.

Any ideas other than the dealer service?(pissed)

You mean the Amber bulb in the outside end of the headlight assembly?

You have to remove the coolant reservoir. Then remove the socket...

Sportsowner is right.
For the RH side, you need to remove the coolant reserve tank first.

Here is the procedure in workshop manual.
- Disconnect the negative battery cable
- Remove the coolant reserve tank. (RH only)
- Remove in the order indicated in the table
(1) Connector
(2) Socket
(3) Parking/front side marker light bulb

Install in reverse order.

The removal of coolant tank seems straightforward. If you need instructions, let me know.
