Pandora Volume Issue

Here is my issue with the Pandora. I connected my phone via Bluetooth to Pandora. Now it comes on automatically when I press the Pandora tab. That is perfectly fine and quite convenient. However, when playing, I have to turn the volume almost to the max - 50 - to be able to hear it. I have tried removing the device (phone) and reinstalling with the phone volume turned all the way up. Did not work. I also have iHeartRadio connected the same way, and there are no sound volumes with that. (It took two times for me to remember to turn the volume down before switching off or to the radio - after listening to Pandora - scared the crap out of me the first time and I thought I blew my speakers out!) Any suggestions/comments? Thanks!

I have also noticed my iPhone's Pandora volume level isn't as loud as my other sources, but I don't have to turn it up to 50 (I believe 65 is max). Keep in mind wireless Bluetooth compression will not make audio sound as clear (low signal-to-noise ratio). I'm sure you did this, but did you turn up your iPhone volume up also when playing Bluetooth? Also, have you tried setting Pandora on the iPhone and just using the Bluetooth tab on the mazda radio only?

Edit: I see now you stated you made sure your iPhone volume was up also.

After my dealer switched out my bluetooth module, in order to hear my music though the bluetooth connection had to turn the volume up to 40 to 50. This went on for about a month before I finally realized that every time I start playing music though bluetooth the volume setting on my iPhone reset to near zero. I adjusted the volume on the iPhone while playing music through bluetooth. Now when I start playing music though bluetooth the module (I'm assuming) remembers the previous iPhone volume setting and adjusts my iPhone to that level.
I'm guessing that since the new module didn't have a iPhone volume setting in it's 'memory', it defaulted to zero.

This worked: Completely removed my phone (device) from the system and also uninstalled Pandora from my phone. Reconnected phone to system (with phone volume all the way up) and reinstalled Pandora on the phone while in the car. Bluetooth connected and volume issue is solved -yay! Hope this is helpful to others with this issue.
