I've owned this car since 2017 (2016 CX-5 Sport) but I’ve only been having this issue for a few months. I have the basic old school stock radio which I actually love. When Bluetooth is connected it will occasionally disconnect completely and then re-pair. I’m primarily listening to Spotify but it has happened a few times while listening to a pod cast. I don’t think the unit turns all the way off though I’m typically driving when it happens. I have deleted it and re paired the phone a couple of times but nothing changed. Everything works fine if I use the aux cable, but I’d rather just pair via the Bluetooth.
