Painting stuff need suggestions!

okay im gonna be buying a bunch of things here in the next few months that are gonna need to be painted.

I am gonna take them to this place i was told about that has done a few jobs for friends of mine.

Im gonna list what im getting painted and what color, basically i need to know paint code for one of the colors and i need to know if i need heat resistant paint or anything special i might need to consider for the items i list below.

I sorta hate doing this cuz im basically posting the crap i will be doing to my car over the next few months, i usually like to keep this kinda thing secretive but oh well.

here goes..

MSP Orange
dg front lip
dg wide body
erebuni eyelids
ww upper rear window spoiler

mp3 blue (under the hood parts) <need paint code
tower strut bar
battery tie down
plastic box the battery sits in
valve cover
random fluid caps under the hood
Oil check stick (just the end)

mp3 blue (outside parts)
calipers and the center peice just behind the wheels not the disc i guess its roters maybe im wrong not sure on that one.

So basically i just needa know what needs to be heat resistant or anythign special i might need to consider.

I don't know about the MP3 blue on the outside of a spicy orange car, but could look tight. Anyway, I would suggest heat resistant paint on anything under the hood and your calipers and rotor hubs. Good luck and get the pics up when done. peace.

only thing mp3 blue outside the car would be the calipers / roters, but im not sure on that.. it was just an idea i had.

blue caliper on orange car will be tight as hell

nice color combo ryan, blue and orange are natural complementary colors, i think it'll look awesome.

the blue strut bar is a cool idea

yeah, i forgot to mention having the fuse box painted mp3 blue as well, im tired of seeing all the diy jobs i want it professionally done on my car.

I personally don't think the blue rotor hubs would look to hot.

Someone here with a white P5 painted his rotor hub and calipers blue.

I guess you want to do an orange car with blue components thing? Wouldn't be my first choice in a highlight color, but I guess it's pretty hard to find one for an orange car.


edit:doesn't mean I don't want to see some pics of your ride once all the painting's done

yeah,, its like ither blue or torquies and im not female so im going blue lol i'll end up painting the calipers and roters black prolly and goign gunmetal or hyper black wheels and just leaving under the hood blue

you should do some photoshopping to see what color calipers would look good. yeah, the black rotor hubs would look nice with dark wheels, but it would be good to find a caliper paint to stand out, that'd be sweet. How about green?

Okay, I know this is a terrible reference but in the "ghey and the curious" (the first one) the supra I beleive is orange and blue components and is actually decent looking depending upon your taste. I'm not keen on the graphics design but the color combo is very loud and a great idea for show type style.
