Looks good, but I do have to point out that you missed a part on the passenger side light... the little triangle between the high and low area. Cannot be unseen, sorry :)

Oh...that would bother me big time. Would re-open and take care of that ASAP! :)

^^^^This

Otherwise looks good and I see you used some duplicolor silver to add some 'flair' to them.

Oh I diden't miss that part Its just the flash, diden't have to put the silver on just taped up around the ends made it look good I think. But during the winter I will be doing some more work and clean up some spots where the paint seeped through the tape.

Oh, well in that case (rei)

I did this on my Protege a couple months prior to selling it BEST asthetic mod for cheap EVER! My new P5 is getting the same this evening.

I have to ask, did you put ur lights in the oven and if so what temp?

Cool, thanks. I remeber a friend using a heat gun. Seriously warped and messed up his lenses.

I see about the flash and tape-off. In the pics it looks silver vs. chrome. I thought about baking mine back apart to do red rings but it was a fleeting thought. lol

what grit sand paper did you use on the inside??

You don't have to use any, quite honestly but if you do some roughing up with 80 grit would be fine.

i personally used some green scotch brite pad on all the lights to just roughen the surface like Jeff said

Gives the paint something to hold onto

I think that would look sick, I was latter thinking about being different and painting them blue to match my valve cover. Also I was wrong again it wasn't the flash, I only painted the housing and left the actual lights silver and that's what is shining in the picture.
