Painted brake calipers

alot of people do red, which of course seems to be a racing color, porsche uses yellow, so why not yellow? well alot of magazenes have made fun of porsches yellow although it looks great on black, yellow, and gunmetal cars. I'm gonna do mine in the same color blue as my car (see sig) that shouldn't be too obvious and it surely wouldn't be overdone.

I did mine in a silver color also and at the same time I painted the rotor hats, just makes the car look clean....well I'm in the middle of putting on the third coat of wax on my car for the night so my break is over.....

i can't figure out what color calipers would go well with spicy orange... i guess just silver or black, but it'd be kinda cool if there was a more pronounced color that would work well with it.

don't mean to hijack but i'm a newbie. my GF has a Protege5 and needs rear calipers. anyone know a good place to purchase some online?

Thanks

Silver would have been to monochromatic for my car. I had first done them all black and painted my rotor hats silver to get rid of the rusty look. Then I finally decided a touch of red would be nice since I also have a red/silver theme in the engine bay.

you cuold do black with an outlined spicy orange pinstripe around the rotor and maybe a flying M in the middle.

duplicolor brand has a smoking deal on the "kit" someone mentioned. everything needed. helps to have some type of brush to get in the tight spots to knock any rust, etc loose. time to change your teeth brush anyway right? a toothbrush is for people from arkansas hence "tooth" used. not gonna last forever but has held up quiet well for me and at 15$ for a semi ceramic coating you cant go wrong
