paint chips and scratch repair

hmm, well i tried the turtle wax stuff, and it worked ok...but not great..i think that my scratches may have been too deep, but it definately concealed them a little bit so theyre not quite as obvious...any more ideas?

I had some deep scratches too and it took them out. I just used an applicator sponge and rubbed back and forth till it came out, then used the terry to remove the wax....

Sorry it did not work out for you, there is another one that has the stronger abrasives, I did not want to use it for fear of stripping the clear coat...

That Turtle Wax polishing compound is great stuff, but if it's scratched all the way to the point where paint is missing, it's not going to do much.

Those 3M Clear covers are pretty spiffy. You can get it done so it covers all they way up your hood and quarter panels (and thus, no visible lines). Just make sure you get it done by a professional. It's a lot like window tint. Do it poorly and you'll see bubbles everywhere.
