The event is now scheduled for September 14 (Saturday) at Pittsburgh International Race Complex (PIRC, Formerly known as BeaveRun) so start planning to make arrangements to attend now.

Just got word back on final pricing. 150 per team with 36 people/12teams after taxes we are all looking at around 53 a person!!!

Start time is 8:30AM!!! plan accordingly gentlemen (and ladies)

details for the Enduro
we will have Practice, then Qualifying both totaled for about a hour
then a 2 hour Endurance Race. Everyone will run the rentals, and all the karts are set up the same. the team that completes the most laps in the 2 hours, wins... each team has to make a mandatory amount of pit stops (if i remember correctly it was like 5 pitstops/driver changes) cost is per driver, and I am shooting for 36-48 guys to come so we have 12 teams of 3-4 drivers. Last year there was a mandatory fuel stop about an hour into the race but this all does come down to driving skill, pit strategy... (provided all skill is relatively the same aka no full time kart racers)

Last year we had a group of 16 guys go and fielded 4 of the 12 teams racing... i got a feeling this year we will fill all 12 teams with 3-4 drivers haha

I'm interested but September isn't going to work and August is tough so it all depends on the date.

Bummer man, i know last year i did it end of July and alot of guys seeemed to be on vacation so i tried to move it back some to accomodate them..
maybe it will all work out and you'll get to come out

Yeah for sure, I'm just going to wait and see what the date ends up being! :)

Depending on the date I'm in. A saturday would work best for me I think. With Jen getting a new job we have no idea what her work schedule will be.

Any pricing?
Also date dependent. Would love to try carting though, as I haven't done it before.

How about August 10-11 or 17-18? If it's either of those dates I'll definitely be in. I've done some karting in the past year and it's incredibly fun.

10-11 is out, one of my closest friends is getting married and im IN the wedding haha

17-18 is possible, im waiting to see what i hear back from the guys at PIRC and see what works for them

Are these the really fast carts? If so I doubt I could fit. I had one hell of time trying to fit in the karts at magic mountain so my son could go around the track.

these are quick carts, and they have a big seat, you might be able to fit... our seat last year was big and i needed to put the insert into it to feel comfortable and im not a small guy haha

What's the setup on this deal? Is there practice and qualifying then the enduro race?

Marlon, you might be close to it... my buddy Jared fit in.. if i remember correctly they had 2 karts with larger seats, we may just have to put 4 of the larger guys together on one team so that they all have the larger seat but thats not the end of the world haha

literally, haha

we kept hearing a goofy noise but none of us knew what it was, then we wondered why Jared was taking such a long lap, then we see him coming into the pits a few laps early and we all scrambled like mad men to get another driver into another Kart for a driver change while changing the transmitter over and all of that... it was hilarious!!

our group was in the back of the pack, since it was open to the public with us only fielding 4 of the 8 teams, we had 2 teams that were guys that comeptitively raced Karts (the one team were guys that ran national comps) and several other groups that you could tell raced karts alot, of the groups running id say our 4 groups were probably the LEAST experienced when it came to seat time in karts... but that wont be an issue if we have all 12 teams filled with our group and the field should be a bit more level/even
