Yep people that say "wheels are wheels" don't know what they are talking about..........i have the rear valance but i don't know how to put it on, last time i put it on with the 3M double sided tape but it came off eventually, im gonna go to home depot and try to find something stronger. Any suggestions?

Rota's are nice but there is something special about having volks or advans. People who know, know what im talking about.

Rota's are a great buy for the money. But comparing Rota's, Konig's and Tenzo to wheels like ADVAN, Volk and Work are like comparing a Yugo to a Bentley. I have always gone with "name brand" wheels and will always buy name brand wheels; that's just me. Yeah, by going with Rota, Konig or Tenzo, you save a few hundred, but might as well wait and save more money to buy a better wheel, both fit and finish wise.

you need 3m double sided OUTSIDE maximum adhessive tape.. that s*** will hold anything.. i have a lil tiny piece of it holding my gps to my dash and that thing is damn heavy.. i got it at homedepot.. i think it was 4 ro 5 bux for a roll.. if u cant find it out by u.. let me know.. and ill get some and u can just pay me for it and the dollar or 2 it will cost to ship
i think the stuff is made for holding mailboxes to housed or some crazy s*** cus it says it is good for up to 15 pounds in ADVERSE conditions.. -=)

Just gotta shop around my friend Perfect example, 17" Konig Holes (5 zigen typhoon replicas) are going for around $800 w/ tires. The REAL 5 Zigen Typhoons are selling for just under $1000 with tires. Same deal with the Tenzo rip off of the 5 Zigen 5ZR Copse. ADVANS, Volks, Work etc... will be closer to a grand more, but still under a grand more (still considered a "few hundred")

I know Rotas are basically all knockoffs of other wheels (just like most other cheaper wheel manufacturers), but just because they don't cost a lot doesn't mean that they aren't good quality. Rota wheels are lightweight & have been used on thousands of cars with only a couple cases of structural flaws. IMO, they are the best wheels available under $1000.

I hve to agree with many of the guys here. I'm not really digging the gold on yellow, but just hink if you did powdercoat them, thats another mod to add to the list, not to mention you would be the only guys with those advans in the (new) color. Then they'd be even more unique for shows.

I tend to disagree. I think if he matched up that color of the wheels to his body color, it'd look ricey. Only thing that needs to be done is have the rear valance carbon fibered up.

Don't you dare powdercoat those wheels...he paid $$ for gold & that's what he wanted. They also come in silver & chrome, but he didn't want those & I agree. Besides, there isn't a person alive who could match the quality of the gold that's on there now with just a powdercoat job.
