P5 vs 2x4

Maybe if your car didn't have such terrible handling you could have avoided it.(wink)

just my luck, my contacts were drying out and I was blinking trying to re-wet them. Right when I re-opened my eyes I saw the wood. No time to react, I just nailed it. My first thought was, "good, didn't blow a tire."

Man, just last week I drove over an extension ladder on the Interstate going to work...VERY close call indeed.

Fortunately it was running parallel to the lane and was right in the center of the lane.

Anyway, good luck w/the new MSP bumper.

since the wood was in the air, it won't raise my premium. if the wood was on the ground, it would
something about collision vs comprehensive

Least in the VA/DC/MD area reporting such a accident won't, it should apply for wood to. But say you hit a deer-report it they can not by law here raise your rates. This also applies to being hit in a parking lot and no one leaves a note. But if you went off the road cause of the deer then you would get higher rates.
Guess it makes some since with the air vs ground. (eyeballs)

enjoy the MSP lip, and it's good it hit your lip, gave you a reason to get a new one..and covered by insurance at that!!! Actually sounds like an ok deal to me.

He's not getting the lip. I'm pretty sure he just wants the bumper without the side markers.

^^yes. i've seen some "fitament" issues with the lip. I'm gonna order the larger grill inserts from Canada when I get a chance.

when the insurance adjuster came out, he was smart enough to look behind the bumper. There was a chunk of wood sticking out of my AC condensor. The wood hit so hard it smashed the condesor and the radiator....but nothing is leaking. He cut me a check to replace everything. But since nothing is leaking...should I worry about it and just keep the extra money?
