p5 upgrade

Hey all, i just bought a '03 p5 and i'm loving it. i want to put some ups on it. what do you think is the best modification to do first?
i've got about $400 bucks that is ready to go towards the car.

pick up an intake and exhaust.. if you're on a tight budget, you can get a decent intake off of ebay for about $50 . spend the rest on an exhaust system.. catback for best results :)

Definitely a Cold Air Intake 1st... best bang for a small amount of bucks

then decide between springs or exhaust

hello phunky munkey and Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to our Club. There are TWO BIG fridge'S in the corner with anything you can think of in them...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. (stash)

make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom don't care....and take it easy.

oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here.

Welcome!! (stash)

As for what to do first? what is your "CUP OF TEA"? performance? or apearance mods? or both?

an intake can run you anywhere from $50 to $200.....just depends on what you want.....

Exhaust systems can be similar....if you have a good muffler shop near you .... you can have a cat-back made for about $150.....or you can buy one from one of the major companies that make them for our cars and spend anywhere from $320 and up.....depending on what you want....or there is a number of Axel back systems starting at about $195.

Lowering springs.....just depends on what kind of drop you want...and what kind of ride afterwards.....and the price is fairly the same across the board with the average being about $150-$200 for a good set.

Then there is Wheels/Tires.....well that is all personal preference and can run you anywhere from $500 to the "SKY".....

Then there is the Sound System....same goes there....a real good decent upgrade to the stock system will run you about $700....and once again the sky is the limit on how far you can go with that one too.

Have a great time with your new car....we sure do....cya around.
