P5 to Renault Clio Body kit ?

Saw this in one of Melicha's thread and came up with a crazy idea

anyone have an idea of the costs involved in coming up with a kit to make a P5 look like this ?

not necessarily the lights or anything major .. but just the Sides with the scoops ... skirt.. okay maybe just those ... everything else we can leave alone

I realize that YES, it is a 2 door, and the P5's a 4/5 but regardless.. that's why it's a CRAZY IDEA .

You would have better luck doing it to a 92-95 3 door civic. The rear windows are almost the same shape.

Looks like a civic front end and a lancer and a matrix all drove into a brick wall at once and they came up with that car from the wreckage.

I think a widebody would be cool. Making fiberglass fenders on the front would be easy but the back fenders ar also attatched to a lot more paneling than just the area near the fender. I think a true widebody(ie not WW or DGM) would be sweet as hell. And the Clio no not ugly just mean looking.

Im a dog trainer for PetsMart and I have seen some mean looking dogs, and all of them were ugly. . . just like the Clio!

but this post was intended to get imaginations going, not to strap on the Captain Obvious Capes , so let's start coming up with something more original, shall we ? .. feel free to suggest your own "Conversions"

Shhhhh O3P5 ..... some people have a hard time accepting that P5s aren't the most gorgeous little boxes ever to be shaped by the hand of man .. ( Myself included )

lol.. I actually really like how the Clio looks .. I tend to agree with Melicha .. it looks mean as hell for a lil Hatchback/wagon

feel free to suggest your own "Conversions"

i suggest we convert it into a piece of scrap metal, melt it down, filter out the crap and addatives, and turn it into a cheaper set of headers for our car.

I got to drive a Clio, not the clio 6 as above, was a nice drive..

only had 65 hp, so going uphill @ 150, and floored, was slowing down, down shifted to 4, floored it, still slowing down..

Handles corners really nicely, but still doesn't compare to the P5, they both have different feels..

and about neon's..

THEY SUCK!!

I still have mine, 5 years old, and I can't wait for the sledge hammer party..

but, alas, I have to live with it for 3-4 more weeks till I get my P5

I agree w/ 03P5, I don't know of any other HB that has a V6 engine inside that produces 250hp and is lightweight!!The Clio is awesome
