Just thought I would let everyone know all the parts I have found so far. I have been posting as much as possible to answer questions, getting tired of all the typing. Would appreciate it if everyone else would share the love and let us all in on any sites carrying P5 parts. Enjoy.

and check out summit racing for a new B&M short throw rachet shifter.

Thanks, that was a big help. People keep throwing out names and vendors, etc. and it is hard to remember where you saw it posted!! good lookin out! :D

Is it a B&M??? If so, is it the same part # you listed from Summit? What is the difference between the "ratchet" style and yours? (Never had any experience with shifters, this is my first manual that I have considered modding the shifter)

its definately not a rachet but it makes a big difference. cuts time in the clutch way down. stock bushings make it kind of stiff. took about an hour to install. much better shifts for only $130 @ summit racing. and it is a b&m. on the web site it comes up as applications for ford escort and mx3, but it fits.

Also at mazdaformance.com they have the B&M shortshifter for $144...they also have the injen intake for $258...and at www.injen.com their selling the intake for the MP5 at $320 so if you are going to buy the injen buy it from mazdaformance.com...and they have the MP3 exhaust for $195 and i'm pretty sure it will fit the MP5

Thanks for posting all that in one shot there. I copy pasted it into a text file for future refrence. Oh and by the way mazdaprotege5 i don't think the MP3 exaust will bolt up to a regular protege/P5 without modification. It has something to do with the way it connects to the cat back pipeing. I don't know the details but don't buy it untill you know for sure.

here is a zip file of anything that i found, unzip it and look through the folders. found some good prices from what i know. Prices are in () before the name. they are also seperated into groups somewhat Enjoy and let me know what you think

if ANYONE is going to buy the B&M short throw shifter for their MP3 OR P-5 just make sure you get part #45071....its the correct one for our cars....I have also gotten it and installed it....its great! and as stated only takes about an hour to install.

as far as the MP3 exhaust fitting the P-5...NOPE...not going to....they are different fitments.....there is a sport exhaust for the P-5 that is the same muffler as the MP-3's but its hung/bracketed and tipped for the P-5....you can even get it from the dealer...and its about the same price......$195.

Looks like a pretty bad crash. Um..i didnt know that APC made tail lights for the P5. I've been to the website many times and have never seen them up there so how did u get yours?
Oh yeah, thanks for posting this P5 buffet!
