Nice drop. Any specs on the rims + tires? 16s... ? 205/50/16 right?

Yep, 16x7+40, 205/50.

I got these tires before deciding to modify the suspension. Next time 205/45s.

Looks good.

I like the well gap. It's dang-near perfect.

Looks really good with those wheels! You decided not to use different springs for the rear?

Thanks fellas. After seeing this thread, I decided to trust Tein. They got the drop right. :)

Very nice! I think the other pics you were referring to were taken right after the car was dropped. And I think the rear takes longer to settle, so it looked weird.

d'oh! That's not really comprehension, that's just not reading at all.

I guess a 17 would fill in the wheel well a little better then.

how is the ride?

20% stiffer than stock, so 20% more noise on rough pavement, 20% more shock on frost heaves/expansion joints/potholes/recessed manhole covers. I dodge a few more road imperfections than I did when it was stock, but all in all it's a livable setup, and for reference I'm pretty critical about NHV.

True, 17s would fill the wheelwells a bit more, but they offer little performance advantage over 16s on a street Protege, at least on MD roads.

Okay, that is the answer to my question from the "other" thread.

Peep the closeups of the wheels--you'll see a little blue peeking out between the spokes. :)
