p5 newbie, some questions?

Hey everyone, just bought my first p5. first mazda accually. Its a 2002, white, stick, 20k miles with 17in rota subzero wheels, other than that stock, no mods, etc. its a great car, cant believe how well these things handle.

I had a couple of questions, hopefully not the standard newbie stuff that you all are inundated with every 5 seconds! if so feel free to berate me and call me a 'lamer'.

1> I want to transfer my old amp/sub (jl 10" in cabinet) to the car, wheres the best place to mount an amp? nothings jumping out at me in the trunk area. its all kindof rounded, no flat spots to mount something

2> whats the best, most low profile, 'stock' solution for a snowboard rack? please note I have the factory rack + crossbars. if I could find something with like, a snowboard attachment and a bike attachment for my mountain bike that would be sweet.

any thoughts mazda oracle? hook me up.

1. ive seen some people mount it to the back of the back seat.

2. yakima (big) powderhound ski rack with mighty mounts. i believe 12v but i could be wrong. its not an official fitment, but its almost perfect. do a search for might mounts.

I mounted my amp under my seat and just ran the speaker wires to the sub
