The vehicle is the 2001 MPV with 2.5L v6. I normally use mpvclub.com but the forum there is down so I figured I would post here and the Mazda5 forum was the closest I could get to my minivan. Mods, please move my post to another place if it makes sense to do so.
The codes mentioned above at p0174, too lean bank 2, and p1250, Pressure regulator control solenoid circuit malfunction. There are no symptoms in terms of rough running, just the CEL.
I checked resistance on the terminals of the PRC solenoid and I'm getting about 130 ohms. I have seen some resources online which suggest it should be a lot lower than this. I have also read that a dead solenoid could be stuck open, causing the fuel intake to run lean at idle, so I am thinking this could account for the 0174 code as well.
Thoughts? Input? Similar experiences?
