Have had my check engine light going on and off for over a month now. It started around the time we got the recall notice for the thermostat, but my engine code was P0014 and it originally was the only code being thrown. Trouble was that I work from home and only really drive long hours/distances on weekends so by the time I could start heading to the dealer to scan it and diagnose, it would go out.
This weekend I was able to get and keep it on long enough and sure enough got the code related to the thermostat issue and it's covered under warranty currently. Anyone else noting the P0014 code? The technician said they haven't seen that come in and I suspect they may try and say whatever it is wouldn't fall under warranty so I'm hoping to get an idea of what to expect.
Noticed the car ran a little louder after the engine's been on awhile (roughly 45 minutes) but after a day or 2 of sitting idle and not driving, the engine light goes away. The code wasn't a permanent code until recently.
