Called the dealer today, got the run around. I also took the car to a body shop to see how much it costs to fix... $620.70!!!

My brother works at a body shop in schiller park. If you want you can check and see they would quote you.

who did you speak to?

wowsers, sam! I know how you feel - I'm the same way w/my p5.

the plugs don't look too bad. The problem is that YOU will always know it's there....

Good luck on getting this resolved!

Raise a little hell. They should know better than that.

Reminds me of when I bought a use Mercury Mistake ((puke)) years ago from Libertyville Lincoln/Mercury. I couldn't tell when test driving it, but doing a couple of miles on the open highway made me soon realize that my tires were cupped. I drove it back the next day, raised a little hell, and got them to agree to replace my tires. I knew all along that they were just waiting for another used car to come in to swap out the tires, but the good thing is that they were out of rentals, so I screamed at them until they gave me my salesman's car to drive until my problem was fixed. :D

Good luck!

sucks bro. first try and take it easy. depending on their reluctance to solve this, start escalating your feelings on it. You can always ask to speak to the head hancho or even Honda NA headquarters. see if it ruffles any feathers. it's their stupidity that did this, so it's on their shoulders

oh I'm sure there are honda dealers that'd do that. they don't care as long as the license plate holder is on and can do its job.

yup. the dealership should be held responsible, but you know they're gonna try like hell not to own up to it. good luck.

I took it down to the dealer today but the sales manager was not there. I showed it to the guy that sold me the car. He understood and seemed to agree with me, but now i have to wait to hear form the manager. So i made them wash the car for me... then when the porter brought the car around he commented that he "almost bought this car". I should have asked him if he was the dumb ass who drilled the holes in the bumper.
