Our First Mazda!

So having been long time Subaru and VW people we made the jump into a new CX9 Touring. The Subaru Tribecca wasn't speaking to me and the VW Touareg is ridiculously overpriced. After some research I began looking into the Mazda's and after driving it, the choice was clear! Upon receiving it, The dealer did a pretty good job of cleaning it for the delivery, but I've become an expert at maintaining black cars and it needed immediate attention. I did a quick wash with Dawn dishwashing soap (with claybar) to remove any sort of wax they used, Followed up by a quick pass with a soft buffer pad and some paint polish followed up by my normal Zaino Show car shine detailing regimen. Took about 4 hours, my neighbors think I'm nuts for polishing a new vehicle for 4 hours, but hey, you cant argue the results. It's also protected and with quarterly 2 hour details will look like this for years to come. My only complaints thus far are the lack of fog lights (fog lights were the only thing we wanted that this didn't have and it didn't warrant the price jump to a GT and I understand the dash gauges wont illuminate blue in the touring .. Other than that, this things awesome! There has to be something out there to make that fog light plastic piece look not so drab.. Or some aftermarket lighting options.. Who knows.. I didnt think an SUV could be "Fun" to drive, lol

Looking good! They had lots of black ones at the dealership I bought mine at. At the prices they are asking for the CX-9 these days, its hard to say no to them. I just bought mine last Friday after tradining in a Mazda5

Welcome.
Many sedans can't make 0.8g roadholding that CX9 is capable of.
Enjoy the CX-9!
