other power sources

i've got a 03.5 yellow speed proteg and i've already got an injen CAI, Apex 3" downpipe, and 3" cat-back, Greddy Type S BOV, and intercooler piping from turbo hoses. . . i was just wondering what other bolt ons or mods i could make to the car . . . thanks

ya i'm ordering a boost controller here shortly and was thinking about an fmic but i've heard from people that if i'm not running a lot of boost daily then it would actually take away from the performance but i thought that was a load of crap

do you know who makes fmic's without the piping kit, cuz i talked to ion and they don't just sell the intercooler itself they make you buy the piping with it and i've already got that

(spank) thats one of the dumbest thing ive ever seen someone post...
[threadjack]you should have seen awhile back when some kid on honda-tech ask what program everyone uses to photoshop a picture...CLASSIC[/threadjack]

actually fmic you make higher boost as well. The pressure drop on the stock IC is like 3 psi, a good bar/plate ic will have less presure drop while further cooling the intake charge.

no company makes just a front mount intercooler that uses the stock piping. you'll have to buy a core w/ or w/o endtanks and then fabricate your own piping if you want to use as much of your hardpipes as you can. the piping route for the sidemount is different than the route for a front-mount.

after you get a FMIC, I'd go with some engine management. you'll be able to max out your turbo with good tuning, but you'll have to build your motor before that.

Umm fail to see how that was dumb!!!!

Maybe bad grammer confused you all.

let me reitterate...

YOU NEED A FMIC and a boost controller. Start saving up your money so you can get a EBC (electronic boost controller). Too many MBC (manual boost controlers) have been having spiking issues that could possible cause more problems down the road. A EBC can cost near 330 while a MBC can be 35-130 bux. You dicide which you want.

**** dis!!!!!!!
