Other OEM short antennas known to fit P5

don't golf antennas shortys? i swear i've seen golfs with short rubber antennas.... hmm, i guess i'll stop by the vw and honda dealer...

the S2000 antenna seems pretty sweet.... but dammit! i swear i've seen short rubber golf antennas... shorter than the s2000 one.

TT antennas with modified thread will fit, but I believe it is very tough to get one nowadays. 99% of the TT antennas you can find out there are replica of the original one. The short rubber antenna you see on VW could be the VW Sharan antenna. That wouldn't fit VW/P5 unless the thread is modified. The Sharan antenna can be had for about 35-40 usd

P5's use the same Fuba stem as the Golf and Jetta.

I think they are a little different. There is a wire twisted along the stem of the VW antenna. VW even made an ad about it on Car and Driver or something

all the Honda antenna is the same. And believe me, they r ******* cheap. It is so cheap they just lay them on the ground in the inventory. My friend works in a Honda Dealership so I was fortunate that he grabs one for me.

Only the base is wider but u can't really tell from a far distance.

hmm.. i guess it's a trip to my honda dealer for an s2000 antenna. heh. i hate the p5's whip-like antenna..... sigh.
