Other brake fitments?

I have been searching for stock calipers for my ride. I keep seeing Probe as one of the cars that the rotors will fit. Are there any other cars that have the same front calipers as the 5? Single piston and no upgrades, I just want one so that is where I am at. No autoparts palce in town has them or their computers only go by Protege and don't specify if it will fit a 5 or what size engine they are for. I have used the search, etc, blah blah blah, but still need a caliper. My front passenger is sticking and I just replaced my rotors and pads and don't want to have to replace more than I have to.

Did you try car-part.com? Just search and grab one from a junkyard. I have replaced all my calipers with junkyard calipers.

Same calipers? MP3, many Protege years (I have a caliper from a 1998)

car parts.com was pretty weak for my area. But doesn't the protege's have different calipers? I thought there is one for the 2.0 and one for the 1.6? Am I wrong? The salvage yards in my area are lame unless you drive a honda.

If the Probe is listed then you can also use parts from the Mazda MX-6 and 626 up to 97 as they were all the same car, probably also the MX-3 but I'm not sure on that one.

AutoZone has the 2.0 and 1.8 listed under the same for the calipers. the 1.6 is seperate. Their satelite was down so I have to wait to order them tomorrow. Guess I am doing brakes on Xmas.

I have a caliper from a 1998 Protege which is a 1.8. It's the same as mine.
