Ordered some new goodies!!

Well, just ordered some new goodies from DGMotorsports today. The wife has been saying she wanted her CF hood, so I orderd the hood, the downforcers, the mirror covers, the hatch handle cover and the rear lower valance section. Man, I hope that it will not be too much CF. I am thinking of having the hood painted so that just the center section that lines up with the grill is CF and the rest would be silver. DGM tells me they should be able to have it all to me in about 2 weeks, I hope they come through because I want to put all this stuff on before Carlisle, along with her CF dash kit and MOMO pedals (chrismas gifts still laying around) I am trying to convince her to remove the graphics and go either plain or maybe just some mfg logos down the side. I personally like the clean look, but I think she really wants some graphics again. Oh well, we'll see.

I am sure I will post some pics. I am kind of curious, what are peoples thoughts on vinyl graphics?? I kind of think they are getting played out, although some still look good, but I really like the clean look too. Thoughts, comments??

nothign wrong with vinyl graphics, infact i know a few ppl that went vinyl cause its cheaper and had them overlayed with clear coat.

Oh, I am sure we will. I was planning on getting it painted before Carlisle, but I don't think that is gonna happen. I will probably have it and the front bumper resprayed (stonechips!!:'( ).

Yea, she is pretty freakin' cool. Oh, she would be all for the turbo, she was complaining not too long ago about how her shorter drive to work no longer let her experience 5th gear I will be putting an SR in my 240SX before she gets a turbo, I have not done anything to my car in 2 seasons because of her and her new toy, lol.

No, I agree, there is nothing wrong with them, I just think there is a certain class to a clean car. Hell yea vinyl is cheap, especially when you have a friend that has a vinyl cutter and the software, oh, not to mention that I never get charged, not even for the vinyl. We always owe each other favors, lol. Hell, tonight she was asking him if he had come up with a new scheme for the car.

Anyway, thanks for the replies folks. I was following her home tonight and was looking at the back of the car trying to envision the new goodies mounted up back there. I hope it is not too much, I really don't like to "overdo" things.
