ordered new head unit

My kenwood sounds great but after playing MP3 cds for like 20min-40min it gets really hot and wont read it anymore. It doesnt heat up as much for regular CD's but it does skip alot and wont read cds with the littlest of scratches. I got too sick of it and ordered a Panasonic 7" tv. I love all aspects of the Eclipse head unit in my other car but almost all of their new tvs have navigation and were over my budget. Ill take some pictures when I get it and put it in.... hopefully Wednesday.

I know a tv in a pretty small car but I often drive with friends or fiance on trips of 100-200 miles and I like technology so there. ha

Thats weird, my kenwood head unit has been doing the same thing lately, i don't use mp3's in it though, but with regular cd's it get ssuper hot and has trouble reading them after like 30 mins. Out of the 2 ones in ours cars i have the less good one.

I have the better of the two units in the cars... and i wasnt a fan of kenwood to begin with

I had to run to the local kenwood shop(closest to my house) to get a wiring harness and I mentioned the problem to the guy working and to a guy standing there.... the bystander was like "yeah mine does that too sometimes I just need to get the new eXcelon" I wanted to be like "no you need to get something other than kenwood because it has always broken on me in the past"... the employee said "sounds kinda weird" and had no advice....

anyways... the new tv sounds better and looks awesome... pictures in a few minutes

perfect view from backseat too...

headrest not in the way and you dont have to bend your neck at all to see.
