Orange Window Tint

Hrm, I'm *really* curious about that.. Then again, I'm not sure if I want to deal with the law. I'll probably be moving around December to Colorado, and I don't want to have to peel the tint off once I get there due to the cops there.

Decisions, decisions.

Yeah that's me.

I'm actually going to try and to it next weekend. Pirana found a shop that has orange tint in a single sheet and it matches almost perfectly.

I took a sample and put it on the inside of the car and it didn't look very orange at first. Remember our cars already have slightly tinted glass and when looking down into the car it looks just slightly darker than stock. But when you look through the windows you can tell it's orange really clear.

I'm honestly not sure if I'll like it or not, it might be a little overwhelming looking out into all that orange from the inside. But I do know it's going to bug the hell out of me if I don't try it and see. I'm getting a good break on the tint and if I don't like it I can rip it out and put in 35% which I know looks good.

I'll post some pics in like 2 weeks and let you see for yourself.

it will look great no doubt in my mind. (seen yellow on yellow and blue on blue and even red on red, it looks great.)

better visabilty during the day... (blueblocker sunglasses) same thing... almost haha

Its not illegal, unless you do the front windshield like I did, . Its weird at first, but even on cloudy days you feel like its sunny. You can get the Gila film at any Autozone. You will need 3 boxes for about $40 (all 3). Then take it to you favorite tint shop and enjoy!

looks good Pirana......like that yellow bar on the roof rack too. put my roof rack back on last week, like it better than those cheap inserts.

YellowSpeed......the tint brand on my car is LLumar. Good luck.

Night time driving is the coolest. every damn thing is yellow.
