Orange MP3 w/ Turbo

Last weekend at the Motor Trend Phoenix Auto Show I was told by four peeps that there was a burnt orange MP3 with Sparco seats and interior, 18 inch rims, a wings west kit, and a TURBO! I was out of town ( of course ). If this car is at the L.A. auto show would someone please take a pic and confirm this. Has any one seen or heard of this car? From what was said, it wasnt hard to miss, it stuck out like a sore thumb.......

I think i've seen pics of that...but it wasn't an mp3...just a protege.

I don't know, but I'd bet that that is the orange protege show car that is for sale on protegetech.com I dont know for sure though, it just sounds like it the way you describe it. Here is the link:

well i didn't go to the car show, but that's a diff one from the one that i saw at the dealership. when i was buying my MP3, the dealer had a "prototype" in the showroom. the said it was a "MP5" w/ a turbo and it was just there to show you what you could do with your MP3. my bet is that's the car that was down there. rumor has it they have it on display over at Mazda corporate. if i get some time i'll drop by since they're just nextdoor to me and check.

The sevice guy could be full of crap .. But I had three buddies go to the show and I had talked to one this morning who said that there was an orange MP3 at the show but he didnt look at it real close.
