Optima Batteries?

Thinkin about geting a red top optima batterie for my 2006 mazda speed6 yes or no ?????

due to the electrical load in my ms6 and offroad truck, im running a single blue top deep cycle in the car and two blue top deep cycles in the truck. slight overkill
Their eight year warranty is great. I can leave my doors open with my system up at a bbq or camping for hours and still jump in and crank the car/truck right up. Nor winching, stereo, lights, nothing has killed them to the point of not starting/running my vehicles.
When my alternator went out i was still able to drive the truck for 2 hours out of the woods to a parts store, with no alternator still had juice left.
Most ppl would do just fine with a red or yellow top depending on their needs. I finally killed a red top after 9 yrs of using it. Great batteries, you wont be dissappointed

Hello, I saw some questions about our batteries and would like to help out however I can. jaymangrum, Im glad to hear you are pleased with the performance of your BlueTop. RedTops are ideal starting batteries and provide plenty of cranking amps for both stock and modified engines. YellowTops will also provide plenty of starting power, but are recommended for applications with extensive electrical demands, like winches or large stereos. BlueTops are identical internally to their equivalent RedTop and YellowTop counterparts, but also have additional threaded top posts for marine applications. All new RedTop and YellowTop batteries come with three-year replacement warranties, while all new BlueTop batteries come with two-year replacement warranties. If you have any other battery-related questions, Ill do my best to answer them.

im runnin the cpe midget battery set up.. if you want smaller?? just not enough juice if you use the stereo alot..

meaning that if you leave the stereo on and the car off it will drain the battery? i was really leaning to get a cp-e lightweight battery tray and battery. /threadjack

I'll most likely replace the OEM battery for a Red Top when it gets to be bad enough. Anyone have an exact model # that works as a drop-in replacement for our cars?
