Opinions please!

Ok, so I'm painting some interior pieces today (radio surround, shift plate, possibly gauge bezel) and I just can't decide what color to paint them. My car is themed black and silver (silver car). I'm just not sure if either color would really stand out, since they're both kindof boring colors you would likely find on a stock interior.

Also I'm trying to decide if I should keep the fake CF on the sides of the radio bezel or paint over that too.

Please let me know what you think, cause I really have no idea.

Paint them real silver. My stock interior pieces were like a dirty yellowish silver. I made em real silver and it looks great.

gloss black? subtle but it might turn out real nice.

we repainted all my girlfriends stock "silver" pieces a more true silver and it looks really good. we did not use any clearcoat and the finish is nice and flat. it looks brighter in her interior.
note: we also painted her gauge bezel (piece in front of gauges, not gauge surround) the same silver and it throws a glare onto the gauges, but it looks good. consider that if you decide to go with silver. it is a little bit of an inconvenience. but it was worth it to me (and her.)

i started my interior yes its fake cf vinyl but it looks damn sexy dont it

silver to match the car i would suggest getting it professionally painted. results are much better. keep the cf side trim on the radio bezel. all silver would look too fake imo.

Semi-gloss black. I think that would look nice.

Or you could spend some money on CF (pieces are from DGM):

Well it's done. I decided to go with gloss black, and I personally think it looks really good. It is definatly an amateur paint job, and it's not nearly as smooth as I hoped it would be, but I certainly like it. I think that whenever I get a lip and get that and some other pieces painted, I'll get it professionaly done, but I'm not gonna go through the hassle right now. I'll get some pictures taken when I figure out whats wrong with the wiring for my gauge and radio (neither are getting power, grrrr) and get it all put back together and pretty.

the black isnt glossy enough. it makes it look kinda plain. i would have liked to have seen a dark carbon gray like funkybuddha said
