Opinions on a Carbon Fiber Look..

Alright, trying to see if this would look good, or not. My car is a titanium MSP.

1. VIS CF hood with the vents.
2. The carbon fiber roof cap/cover.
3. Carbon Fiber trunk with the Evo 8 wing.

So basically the whole top part would be CF. My fear is that it would be overboard/more rice than China.

Still wanting to get a CF hood either way to let some of this heat out from my mani.

Im getting a carbon fiber hood..... i already have the roof cap and trunk and evo 8 spoiler.

Warning aobut the evo 8 spoiler, it may look rice at some angles, but other angles (like fron the rear) it looks sweet as hell. but also it even looks better with suporting mods.

IMHO im a carbon fiber nut, im actually thinking of getting custom carbon fiber fenders one day

I think you should definitely go with the CF hood, I have one and I love it. However, Im not a huge fan of carbon fiber roof skins or trunks. I prefer to have the roof painted black. My buddy did it and it looks mean. Im getting my roof painted a Porsche black...its a sick color. The other problem with CF is how well does it fit? you sure as hell dont want massive gaps. Thats my opinion. I prefer simplicity and not over cooked rice...lol

I like the idea of having the roof black, I don't think there are going to be many people that would be able to tell the difference from far away of whether it's painted or CF. My other worry was that the roof cap would have a different weave than the hood/trunk, and it would look funky and get on my nerves that they were different (even if people didn't notice, I would).

The isport roof cap has the sme weave pattern as then XC Hood and trunks and DGM's pattern, no harm there haha and all of the DGM, XC and iSPort parts are good quality and fitment

I love carbon fiber, buy the hood if that's what you want and see how you like it... You'd prob benefit from the excess heat escaping the engine bay through the vents, more so than the 10-15 lbs shaved...

However if you're that worried about looking ricey, remember that the roof cap will only add weight as your gluing a skin on top of an existing roof and by installing the Evo VIII spoiler you're negating alot of the weight shaved by adding a carbon fiber trunk...

You can always paint them to match too, although I wouldn't as there is something about the way the light reflects off of carbon fiber that always puts a big smile on my face...

the evo 8 spoiler is as much as stock, and the roof cap weighs next to nothing, really now what's 2 lbs for a street car, none of us here are pro race car drivers haha

I like the Evo wing, but if I got the roof cap I'd have to follow suit and get a CF trunk I think it would look odd with just the hood and roof.. and if I did go with the CF trunk I'd have to do something with that stock wing so it would be replaced with the Evo one.

I say no cap or spoiler but yeah on cf hood and trunk!

I know a place that you can get the vis evo style hood for 450. I just got my oem one for 335

i love the vis cf hood....look a hella lot better than the stock one....and doing the full cf down the middle i think would be neat......need pic of that trunk lid with the evo wing

the gas cover shows up once in a while on ebay... the roof cap you have to contact iSport

Just FYI....You will not Shave much Weight with a CF hood over the stock one.

And if you have to get a CF hood...DOnt Get the VIS....Its the ugliest hood made for the Pro IMHO...and the only reason everyone gets it is price.

You get what you pay for.

i've only seen the evo vis hood and the reg hood in cf.....what other ones are out there
