I've been meaning to ask this as well. It appears to go into the cabins ducting. I fished a string through it to see where it went, but it does not come out anywhere in the car, so it must be in the ducting. I'm wondering if it's the ambient temp sampling tube, but that doesn't seem like a good place for ambient temps.

it's not a vent but a drain... ever notice that puddle of water under your car after you park it in summer time? now imagine if that s*** doesn't exist or got clogged ;)

it's a tasty drinking water dispenser.. route a hose into your cabin and put a valve on it, and have some delicious french alps water any time you want!

:D kidding of course

If it's a drain, why does it curve upwards? It is also over the turbo and exhaust, so if it overflow'd, wouldn't you see the steam from when it hits the exhaust?

lol maybe mazda felt it needed a free cooling mod. Anyone snap a picture of it yet?

It was used in the final inspection period of the car to check a brake line connection. There is even a tsb about it because everybody that bought a ms6 is wondering what it is for.

Do you happen to know where we can get a list of the TSB's for the MS6? I know there was a link for the Protege/MSP, but I haven't seen one for the MS6?

Thanks,
Ryan
