Only Protege @ CES 2003

Of all the P5 and MP3's this was the only one I saw at CES in Las Vegas.

I wonder what the deal with the rear lights are? - Looks like the left one (small one) is some sort of air way for the sub's.???

I actually kinda like those light...they're not Altezza's, they're not Euro/Japanese...they're different.

I think the left one's lens cover is just popped off...

Most people that are serious audio compeditors don't take there cars to CES, usualy only demo cars or manufacturer cars. Everyone else has theres back at home ripped apart trying to get ready for Daytona. Not to mention they don't want the competition to know what they have until its too late.

CES is Consumer Electronics Show....it is the biggest annual electronics trade show.

What do you mean "serious audio competitors" there are some serious audiophiles at CES. Whether manufacture or sponsored cars.

I am in the industry and there were more than just manufacture owned cars with "serious audio" not to mention major custom work.

Most people that are serious audio compeditors don't take there cars to CES, usualy only demo cars or manufacturer cars. Everyone else has theres back at home ripped apart trying to get ready for Daytona. Not to mention they don't want the competition to know what they have until its too late.

the parts of the lights are easily removeable so you can paint the lead color plastic trim - I suppose someone stole the reverse lens

I relize but the bulk of people with high caliber systems that are not build for the purpose of advertising wqill not be there. I am sure there were alot there but it nothing proabaly about 1% compared to what Daytona will be. So you cant't expect it to be a huge car show plus many serious compeditor are building right know.

By the way you should know that CES is not a car show but a demonstration and showcase for manufacturers

I am well famiar with CES I know it form several angles as my full time job demands I stay up to date will more then just mobile. My comments are more for other member not you or myslef.

Seriously though keep stopping by the Mobile area, we love company and different opinions.

Don't forget the best part of CES, the AVN's, did you get your tickets this year?

I had to pass mine up becuase my girlfriend made me go on a cruise during CES.
