One week sitting prep?

:
2016 CX-5 GT
I'll be going on vacation for a week, is there anything I should do to my 2016 CX-5 to prep for the week that the car will be parked? The longest any of my vehicles have been parked has been over a weekend. This is my first actual vacation in my 20 year working career, and I'm just trying to avoid any unforeseen problems when I return. I was considering getting one of those battery tenders, but not sure if it would be necessary for just a week.

Car will be fine, if it were winter right now a battery tender might a good idea but not needed in the summer.

I used to park my car at the airport for three weeks, come home for a weekend, then park it for another two weeks.

One week is no problem.

One of my cars (not a Mazda) often sits a week (or two) out of every month. Been like that for several years. Not the slightest problem.

It does have an AGM battery though. And ColoradoDriver was right, it got hit by hail once while we're out of town. :(

I'd lock the doors.

One week should be fine.
If you lock the doors (alarm armed), two months might complete drain the battery.
It happened to my daughter's '14 Mazda3 (new battery at that time) which was parked street side for two months.
She got back and battery was drained. Luckily I got her a battery booster. Problem solved easily.

1-week prep

Step 1: place 1 can beer in paper bag in fridge. Ensure min 5 inches clearance all four sides and top.

Step 2: Lock CX-5.

Step 3: Upon return unlock CX-5 and run engine for 5min. Turn off.

Step 4: Grab beer from fridge and enjoy.
